£650k Investment for POINT HIRE

 

As part of an ambitious plan to grow Point Hire, the Kelly family have invested over £650k in new hire equipment and the installation of an innovative new computer system.

 

For the past 16 years, Point Hire has attracted a wide client base through their commitment to continually updating their hire fleet. In an expansion to the current fleet of diggers, dumpers, rollers and forklifts, a number of new boom and scissor lifts (up to 51 feet) have arrived.

 

Just last month Gary Kelly also took delivery of seven mini diggers from Takeuchi and Komatsu, an 18 tonne MAN truck and a MAN delivery truck with HIAB crane as part of the huge investment in the hire facility.

 

“This shows our commitment to investing in the future of the business as we’re confident there is a growing market for lift and digger hire.  It’s been a bold move for us, but one that has paid dividends already as all of the new items were hired out within days of arriving,” Manager Gary Kelly says.

 

The company, a Kelly Group division, prides itself on having a tool for every job and even small items such as hedge cutters, strimmers and lawnmowers can be bought, hired or repaired at Point Hire’s outlet in Milltown East Industrial Estate, Warrenpoint.

 

As part of the Point Hire investment, a new computer system has been installed to manage the growing hire fleet. Insphire is the world’s leading supplier of software to the hire and rental management industries and this new technology will facilitate full back to back order processing from hire, sales and works orders. The system has a fully integrated accounting package and will reduce administration and paperwork, resulting in a streamlined and more efficient approach to customer service.
